Makam Villa is a beautiful place with a very peaceful atmosphere. I stayed there during the mango season and enjoyed a lot of delicious mangoes. The nearby river offers stunning views, and you can even step in and take a bath. I had a really great time there. The people there treated us like guests in their own home—the villa owner personally took care of us and even cooked food for us. The meals were very healthy and traditional. We stayed at Makam Holiday Home during our visit to Kottiyoor Temple, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The location is stunning—surrounded by nature with a beautiful riverfront view. The gentle sound of the flowing river creates such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that’s hard to find anywhere else. One of the best things about this place is its convenient location, offering a shorter route to the temple, which made our visit much easier. The property itself is clean, comfortable, and perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy the calm and beauty of the area. I highly recommend it for families, pilgrims, and nature lovers alike. Wir sind zwei Deutsche und haben diese Unterkunft relativ spontan gefunden und gebucht. Wir sind dort für eine Nacht geblieben und haben es absolut geliebt! Der Host ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist sehr neu und alles ist sehr schön hergerichtet, vor allem auch das ganze Grundstück und der Blick auf den See. Morgens gab es ein super leckeres Frühstück! ~ Xenia E
